Words and Music performance on Sunday 17 November, 3.00pm at St Mary’s Church, Amersham HP7 0DB

George Fox, founder of the Quakers, was a visionary, a radical, and a perpetual thorn in the side of authority. From a deeply troubled young man, he came to inspire followers around the country and across the world, including here in Amersham. The words and music performance “Be Patterns Be Examples” tells the story of Fox and of the Amersham Quakers he inspired, narrated by Catriona Troth and Martin Pounce with musical interludes played by Jane Faulkner (violin), Elizabeth Corbett (Cello) and Esther Cavett (piano).

Tickets £12 including refreshments available from Amersham Museum www.amershammuseum.org/event/be-patterns-be-examples-george-fox-and-the-quakers-of-amersham
