St. Mary’s Church, Amersham

St. Mary’s Amersham is the ancient Parish Church at the centre of Old Amersham. Set in the Chilterns, one of the most beautiful locations in the country, it is nevertheless only half an hour from central London by train or tube.

St Mary’s is a very busy community. Apart from serving as the ancient Civic Church, it attracts a large congregation at the 10.30am Family Eucharist. We are strong on music and worship, with a choir and aspiring to high standards of organ and instrumental playing. Children and young people are greatly valued and we have close links with the many schools in the area.
